How it works
You write the form once, in whatever language you write in — that becomes its default. Add another language and the panel lists every translatable string from the form, in the order they appear on it, each with a box to type the translation into.
- 1Open the Languages panel and add a language.
- 2Work down the list — form title, each question's title and description, welcome and ending screens.
- 3Publish. Respondents get a switcher.
Translations are typed by you. There is no automatic translation — nothing is machine-translated on your behalf, and nothing is sent anywhere to produce them.
What to expect
- Which language someone gets is decided by the link first, then their browser, then your default.
- Anything you leave untranslated stays in the original, string by string — a part-translated form still works rather than showing blanks.
- Right-to-left languages are laid out right to left.
- Piping still resolves inside a translated sentence, wherever you moved the token to.
- Options coming from a connected table are not translated.
The list regenerates itself from the form, so adding a question adds a row and deleting one takes its row away. There is nothing to keep in sync by hand.
