Frequently asked questions

Does it replace a phone call?

That is the intent — the ending says the office and the tutor have both been told, so nobody rings as well. Say the same thing in your own words if your process differs.

When is a doctor's note asked for?

Only when the expected absence is more than three days. The upload appears at that point and stays hidden otherwise.

Can it handle a leave request as well as an absence?

Yes. Choosing 'planned leave' opens a box for the circumstances, which is the question a leave request has to answer and an illness does not.
