The one institutional form that is not administration: it asks someone who no longer owes you anything to give you their time. The two questions that pay for it are 'would you mentor' and 'would you speak', and they are asked plainly rather than buried under an ask for money — because putting a donation request on the form that updates an address is how an institution loses the address.

Frequently asked questions
Why does it not ask for a donation?
Deliberately. Mixing a fundraising ask into a contact update costs you the contact update. Send the appeal separately, to the people who opted in here.
How does the mentoring question work?
Saying yes opens a checklist of what they could help with. Saying no or 'maybe' costs them nothing and the form moves on.
Does it respect a contact preference?
It asks for one and the copy promises to hold to it. That promise is yours to keep — the form records the answer, your mailing process has to read it.
