Caps and scheduling
Beside the accepting-responses switch you can stop after a number of responses, close on a date, or open on one. Available on every plan.
- A closed form explains itself rather than showing the page a mistyped link gets — someone following a real link from a real email should not conclude it is broken.
- Each reason has its own wording: closed, full, not open yet, deadline passed. You can write your own message instead.
- A closed form shows its title, so people know they had the right link, and none of its questions.
- The last remaining place is reserved atomically, so two people submitting at the same instant cannot both take it.
Verified email respondents
Turn this on and someone must confirm their email address with a six-digit code before the form opens. The address is stored with the response and cannot be edited by whoever is filling it in. Pro and Business.
The form is not sent to the browser at all until an address is proved — not the questions, not the options. Gating only the submit button would leave everything readable to anyone holding the link.
