A row per response
Each submission appends a new, neatly-headed row — your data stays live without lifting a finger.
Real-time sync
Responses arrive in your sheet the moment they're submitted, powered by a reliable background queue with automatic retries.
Only its own sheets
FormSnapp only creates and writes to the spreadsheet it makes for your form. It never opens or edits spreadsheets you already have — each form gets its own dedicated sheet.
Secure by design
Your Google tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and refreshed automatically, so the connection just keeps working.
Clean columns
Your form's questions become the sheet's column headers, so the data is readable and ready to analyse.
One connection, every form
Connect your Google account once and reuse it across all of your forms.
What lands in Google Sheets
One row per response.
Made and headed on connect; its id is stored on the form, so responses always land in the same sheet.
Always first, so the sheet sorts chronologically without you doing anything.
The column header is the question's label.
One cell, so filters and pivot tables work on it.
The file stays in FormSnapp storage; the cell holds the URL.
The header row is written once. Reconnect to pick up new questions.
How to connect Google Sheets
- 1
Connect Google once, in your dashboard
In FormSnapp, open Integrations from the sidebar and click Connect on the Google Sheets card, then authorise FormSnapp. You only do this once — the connection is reused across every form you build.
- 2
Create a sheet from the form's Connect panel
Open the form you want to sync, switch to its Connect panel in the builder, and on the Google Sheets card click 'Create a sheet for this form'. FormSnapp makes a dedicated spreadsheet, headed with your questions.
- 3
Responses append automatically
Every new submission adds a row to that sheet in real time. Use the on/off switch to pause delivery, or open the sheet any time to sort, filter, and chart your data.
Frequently asked questions
Can FormSnapp see my other spreadsheets?
In practice, no. FormSnapp only creates and writes to the spreadsheet it makes for your form, and never opens or edits spreadsheets you created yourself. Each form gets its own dedicated sheet.
Does it work in real time?
Yes. Responses are delivered to your sheet within seconds of submission through a background queue that retries automatically if Google is briefly unavailable.
What happens to existing responses?
The integration starts appending rows from the moment you connect. You can also export your existing responses from the dashboard at any time.
Is the Google Sheets integration free?
You can connect and configure it on any plan. Live delivery of responses is included on Pro and above.
